1. I recently noticed that I was missing this, so asked Mrs. Waldher to e-mail it to me. This is the only picture in existence of Pam and myself. It seems that at a time where I didn’t want to see pictures of myself, I now wish I had multiple pictures to prove our friendship. Is that awful? It seems that many people who barely knew Pam, but knew her story, are only now realizing how close she and I were. Ah, well. She knew it and I knew it. I know that’s all that matters.

About

Missing You: The Incomplete Story of Pamela Mikels Waldher is a novel based on the events that took place during Pamela Waldher’s disappearance in 2005. Pamela was sixteen years old when she disappeared from her father’s home in Fayetteville, North Carolina, in January 2005. Forced to face the improbability of Pamela’s return and the unanswered questions of her case, one friend has pulled together memories, news articles, interviews, letters, and so forth written in attempts to make sense of Pamela’s disappearance and keep her memory alive. After more than two years of searching, Pamela’s remains were found in September 2007. Missing You: The Incomplete Story of Pamela Mikels Waldher revolves around the life of an innocent teenager who came to an unsolved end. This novel brings to light the life of Pamela through memories of her friends revolving around the confusing and tragic time where nothing was known about her disappearance. From 2005 until present day, Fayetteville authorities still have no substantial leads as to what happened to Pamela. Her case is still open and under investigation. This project is not just for myself. It is to spread the word of Pam's case and to bring awareness to others of missing cases in general. Pam was my dearest friend, as well as a friend, daughter, granddaughter, and more to others. Please follow, post, share this for her moreso than for any other reason. With this blog I hope to gain support as I attempt to get this book published. Please show your support by becoming a follower and commenting on anything you wish! Thank you!
